Pro-Am competitions will be offered for both West Coast Swing and Two Step.  Neither of these competitions are United Country Western Dance Council sanctioned and our rules are a very relaxed.  Four levels of competition are offered: Starter, Newcomer, Novice, and Intermediate.  The purpose of these competitions is to provide competitors an opportunity to perform routines with their instructors in the friendly Dance Camp environment and to gain experience in dancing before our friendly audience.  The contest coordinator and chief judge is Doug Rouser.  Detailed Dance Camp Chicago comptition rules are available for download: DCCrules. 

A Starter Division has been included (following the spirit of UCWDC competitions) to encourage first-time competitors.  In order to level the playing field a bit for these first-timers, Starter Division rules limit the moves that may be used just as at UCWDC events.  Starter Division rules for Dance Camp Chicago are available for download: StarterRules.
