September Lessons Two Step with Don Leynes
modified: Don continued teaching his eye-catching brand of patterns, with plenty of styling and technique thrown in by Julie. Beginner dancers looked great shoulder-catching-and-releasing (even if it isn't fishing season). Intermediate dancers have Irv to thank for the accuracy of the review. The amalgamation had the women styling and men actually doing footwork and leading at the same time! The final lesson of the month promises more entertaining pizzazz. Come out and experience one of the best instructors the Chicago area has to offer. And don’t forget that you can place an order for a video of this month’s lessons—including the one taught at the first Friday dance. |

October Lessons West Coast Swing with Carlos Garcia
modified: Carlos Garcia, a two-time Mid-United States Hustle Champion, all-star level West Coast Swing champion, and 2008 World Showcase II Champion in Country Western, takes over Swing N’ Country for the month of October, teaching West Coast Swing. In between competitions, Carlos finds time to teach dance around the Chicago area, and has recently begun a Swing/Hustle night at Studio Viva in Palatine. Check out some of Carlos’ moves online. |

Holiday Dinner/Dance - December 5, 2008 modified: The folks organizing SNC’s annual Holiday Dinner Dance, “Home for the Holidays,” are giving you fair warning: This year’s extravaganza will have you smiling from ear to ear, not to mention eating and dancing. If you really want to be on top of things, register now! The organizers would like to note that this year’s holiday dance will take place on a Friday—which is change from previous years’ Sunday night holiday dances.
