DVD Recorder Wanted – Wednesday Lessons Is there a reader out there who can
faithfully come to the Wednesday lessons to video record and make CDs for the
students? The SNC Board is looking
for someone to take over this volunteer position effective with the lessons
beginning in January. Contact Roger Peterson if you think you can
help carry on this value-added benefit. |

Mike and Debbe Lapina Teach East Coast Swing the Second Dance of October Mike and Debbe
will be teaching East Coast Swing, a dance known for its six-count triple
step form. It originated at the height
of the Swing Era around 1942. Mike and
Debbe also teach at Windy City’s
Jitterbug Club. |

50/50 Raffle at Second Dance of October There
will be a 50/50 Raffle at the October 16 dance. Tickets are $1 each; ten for
$5; and an arm’s length for $10. Not
to worry, we’ll find someone with a wide wing span to measure these out! |
