modified: Swing ‘n’ Country Elections
(Note: Swing ‘n’ Country is a member-run club. On the Board, members
help decide the direction of the club. It is members that keep the club
running. Please remember that if you’re thinking about running for a position
this year.) Elections for officers and the
board of directors of our club are coming soon. This year we are
electing Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and three full-term board
members. Secretary and Treasurer serve
for one year; board members serve for two years. Because of recent vacancies, we are also electing a fourth board
member for a one-year term.
Please
consider serving Swing ‘n’ Country by running for one of these
positions. Board meetings occur once per month usually on a Monday
evening. Board members serve on one or more committees and meet and check-in
dancers at the registration desk at the regularly-scheduled dances several
times per year. Please contact any board
member for
information on the duties for each position. If you are interested,
please contact Roger via e-mail or telephone
(224/622-1223).
