new: Thanks to Julie for Ten Years of Service
Swing ‘n’ Country thanks
Julie Hein and her assistant Don Leynes for a triumphant month of Double Two
in March. A huge thank you also to
Julie for her fifteen years of service to the Swing ‘n’ Country Board as
Secretary. That’s right … fifteen whole years! Julie is a founding member of SNC and will
continue to be active in the Club as a Happenings
editor, Dance Camp committee member and teacher.

Grand Geneva Resort and Spa, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Lots of workshops, lots of open
dancing, competitions in both Swing and Hustle in two
ballrooms. Swing ‘n’ Country has a table at the event. Contact

Popovich teaches Pilates in Arlington Heights starting at 7:00 pm.
Pilates helps dancers of all levels learn to move their bodies more
efficiently, resulting in smoother dancing, longer endurance, and more
flexibility. You will feel better too! Contact Jill

Mondays: Alisa Winkler teaches beginner West Coast Swing from April

a movie about the “only two things in life (that) are universal.” Choreographed and produced by Robert
Royston, and featuring Nicola Royston in a leading role, Chicago dancers are sure to enjoy watching

WWII USO themed Swing Dance.
Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Hosted by the National Railroad Museum. The event includes a live swing band,
cash bar, food, and WWII re-enactors. Contact
