Six positions are available.As Swing 'n' Country is a member-run organization , it is imperative that we have a full board complement to maintain our club's reputation of being one of the finest. There are 6 open positions: Vice-President (one year term moving to president); Treasurer (two year term); Secretary (one year term); and 3 Board Members (2 year terms) If you've enjoyed our lessons and dances and want to give back to our membership by filling one of these positions, please contact our Vice-President, Don Moeller. Questions regarding the job functions can be answered by any board member.

Soleman Krebs returns to Swing 'n' Country to teach West Coast Swing. Because of his smoothness and his phenomenal sense of musicality, Solemen has become an extremely popular Chicagoland teacher.

January 27-29: Mario in Chicago. A Friday night dance party will be held at the Centre at North Park which will include a west coast swing lesson. Your DJ will be Mario Robau himself. Mondays: Jill Popovich Powers teaches Pilates in Arlington Heights starting at 7:00 pm. Pilates helps dancers of all levels learn to move their bodies more efficiently, resulting in smoother dancing, longer endurance, and more flexibility. You will feel better too! March 8-11, 2012: The Chicago Classic . Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Rosemont. Fifth annual national West Coast Swing convention directed by Nancy Tuzzolino and Jim Becker.
April 26-29, 2012: Swing Dance America. The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa, Lake Geneva, WI. A swing event hosted by Glen Miller.
May 25-27, 2012: Chi-Town Swings. Wyndham Lisle, Lisle, IL. Non-competitive Swing Event hosted by Alfred Dahma, Julie Hein and Jill Powers.
July 13-15, 2012: Wisconsin Dance Challenge. Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport Hotel. A swing event hosted by Vivian Hahn and April Prince.
